Back to Cantagiro however the following year with "Time to cry", written by Sergio Bardotti, which fails to achieve success.
Form his own band with musicians accompanying Bolognese, "The Idols", with whom he recorded his first album
In Sanremo, Lucio Dalla back in 1967, must know how to lose, performed in pairs with Rokes Shel Shapiro: 1967 is the year of the suicide of Luigi Tenco, who had worked with for one of the texts from the first disc, world of men, and with whom he'd befriended ("with Tenco had had relations of friendship and cooperation. We went to San Remo together, we took the next room, and his death shocked me ... I did not sleep for a month").
